  • Pruning seminars with Professor Riccardo Gucci

    Professor Riccardo Gucci  (University of Pisa - Italy), author of the book "Modern techniques for pruning trees" will give also this year, a seminar on pruning for, Saturday, April 22  and Sunday, April 24, 2017 . The seminar includes 2 -2.5 hours theory and practical training to an olive grove in Mesogeia, Attika,  where there will be a demonstration on trees 20 - 25 years old and also on trees 4 years old. Emphasis will be given on pruning techniques for tree shaking machinery and for mechanical collection with other methods. There will be simultaneous translation from English to Greek.

  • We have printed new posters for the organoleptic evaluation of olive oil and the best practices for olive oil mills

    We have released two informative / educational posters:

    1. The official procedure for proper tasting and sensory evaluation of olive oil.
    2. Best  practices  and  all  critical points to be followed at the mill for producing high quality extra virgin olive oil.
